On behalf of SURYODAYA FOUNDATION, singer, Padmashri Dr Anuradha Paudwal cordially invites you for the inauguration of GIFT OF SOUND an initiative undertaken to restore hearing capacities among schoolchildren from BMC-run schools in the city. The inaugural session will be presided over by Hon’ble Shri Nitin Gadkariji. Shri. Praveen Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director, Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), A Govt. of India Undertaking has associated with this initiative and will be present on this occasion. Mr Avinash Pawar CEO of Sivantos also joins in for organising this initiative. The inaugural session will be held on May 9th, 2023 at Rang Sharda Bandra West at 9.30am. This initiative has got good support from the Indian film fraternity as well.
About Suryodaya Foundation:
Suryodaya Foundation was established in 2017 and since then has accomplished several social interest initiatives including:
- The water conservation project in Nanded, which bagged the award from Paani Foundation and Govt of Maharashtra for providing maximum water relief in drought-prone regions of interior Maharashtra.
- The foundation built schools post the Nisarga cyclone which caused tremendous destruction in Alibaug and surrounding areas.
- They have donated an entire floor in a residential school for HIV positive children, which was flagged off by the then Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
- On March 3, 2023, which was World Hearing Day, Suryodaya Foundation donated 250 hearing aids for hearing impaired schoolchildren in Odisha, which was flagged off by Governor of Odisha, Prof Ganeshi Lal.
